shorten up your z-height if all else fails. You are running pretty high up there.
(as I see Ryan mentioned above)
not saying you are too high up there but.. think of holding a pen with three fingers at the butt end of the pen and writing vs holding it a half inch above the tip.
Can not wait! I have plans for the low-rider. Just have to get the heat going. It will be our little man-cave. He has lots of plans and ideas. I look forward to showing off the mpcnc’s/lowrider all setup and running. I will say though for 150 bucks (cheaper now it seems but oos at the moment) this one light is way brighter than the six lights I…[Read more]
I have six similar ones that I got from Costco like Ryan. They work really well in my basment. The old man and I are putting up a 40×60 in my front lawn. We were looking around for lighting a large building. We decided on 6 of these guys (https://www.ledmyplace.com/products/high-bay-led-150w-4000k). Was somewhat hesitant to drop that kind of money…[Read more]
I know the hypercube 3d printer runs on 10mm carbon fiber rods for its x axis using these bushings
I guess he has had them on and working for some time printing 12-14 hours a day with very little…[Read more]
Just read through this thread. Nice work on the table. My only suggestion would be to use it a bit lol. Get familiar with it. Get that thing dirty. Then once you are familiar with it then try new things. Vinyl requires a good z level. It’s all about pressure. I do not want to discourage you in any way but if I had to cut vinyl I would perso…[Read more]
You rock buddy. My board just came in today. I scored a decent deal on it. Zyltech had a 20% off coupon the other week. I got the hat and rpi3 for like 55 bucks. Then dumped another 75 of filament of course (great stuff at a cheap price if you have not tried it. I have put through about 20 rolls of their filament so far. I hope to get this…[Read more]
I have thought about this in the past. I have plenty of spare parts (as I tend to print parts when I have nothing else to print) printed on a da vinci xyz pro (good quality – have built 5 mpcnc’s now from parts off this printer). I would have no issues throwing a set to someone who would ‘make good advertising use of it’. By that I mean sending it…[Read more]
I was hoping to make you happy 😉
Sounds good buddy! I just like trying new things. I see a huge benefit in being able to return to multiple set locations (as far as tool change goes). I may have to snag one of these boards and give it a go. Thanks for the info. You have any default settings for the lowrider or do your posted mpcnc settings work…[Read more]
