I continue to put my printer all the way to the left and the back and zero the z. Then I turn on the printer. Looking at where my zero point on the file attached, I cant for the life of me figure out why i keep hitting bump stops to the back and to the left. its like it wants to go back further left and back then i have space for and its trying to go back above the zero point.

what am i doing wrong please?

That should be correct. Are you sure your axes are wired correctly, as in https://www.v1engineering.com/assembly/software/Checks out paying close attention to the away towards, left and right?

It is conventional to use the lower left corner as your zero.
